Mission: tame the Afrock. Yes, it's a vile angle and I have ALL the chins. But fuckit. Kinder is really viv defensive. To the point where she is under the impression that the best defence is a strong offense! Hence the leather jacket and gloves. In all fairness, as soon as she had 5 minutes of throwing her toys out the pram, she stopped trying to eat me and somewhat calmed down. She'll grow accustomed to me eventually. It'll just be a long process. If she doesn't, then that's cool with me.. it just makes day to day husbandry far easier if she is easily handleable. If not, then I'll adjust my handling technique to suit her. People often forget that animals are ANIMALS and shouldn't be expected to be docile and 'tame'. Afrocks are not for the novice keeper and should be treated with hella respect.
