As I finished the email and I sigh, I knew what it said before I read it, I was kinda surprised by the reason. I had been rejected from the program I applied for after high school, It read something along the lines of “We are not accepting applicants this year as we are renovating because we got extra money sorry, maybe next year” Unsurprised I text my mom and when I go to school, I tell my guidance counselor that exact same thing.

just so y’all know, i’ll have college applications results on tuesday, so i’ll probably spam you guys’ dashboards

#well it's not college bc in France we Don't have the same system than in the usa #but you get what i mean #after highschool #i have applied in 3 different cities #each time ive asked for a physic degree #and in 2 of the 3 towns ive also asked for 'preparation classes'#where you get trained during 2 years for the exams needed in order of getting into engineer schools #'class prépa' in french #im only panicking a bit rn #but i promise you in 2 days i'll be rambling nonstop on this blog x)#i really want to get accepted in another town than my own in order to leave my family #but at the same time getting into the adult world is scary af #still want to tho #idk if i have the mental / emotionnal / psychological strenght of living with them anymore
