GG OT3 15. Criminal AU  48. Fake Dating 

Hear me out:

Jewel thief Agatha. Private Investigator Gil. Target Tarvek.

Agatha tries to seduce Tarvek (to steal some heirlooms), who is playing homme fatale in an attempt to seduce Gil (for kicks), who is trying to seduce Agatha (to catch her in a lie so he can get her arrested).

They then end up In Cahoots, fake date to get Agatha into a Valois garden party, where Gil shows up to 'investigate' something on Tarvek's behalf (there's a lot of suspiciously homoerotic touching) to draw attention while Agatha tries to steal things, and then.

Someone kills Auntie Margarella!

And now this entire party is looking to Gil to solve this (all pointing the finger at whoever's in their way to an inheritance, and a few people pointing at Agatha because she's an Outsider), and he has to clear Agatha's name in particular because she was very suspiciously absent, but he can't tell them what she was actually doing, because what she was actually doing was stealing.

So he tells everyone that Tarvek's Date is actually Gil's girlfriend and also Investigative Partner and he'd sent her ahead to scope the place out for him in case The Jewel Thief came.

After that it's a standard murder mystery except Gil is. Constantly bumbling. (Because Tarvek trips him.)

18. Circus AU 48. Fake Dating

I mean is circus really an AU?

Anyway. Uh. Agatha and Gil figure Something out on CW and run away. Klaus dismisses this as Gil Acting Out and thinks 'well, maybe this will result in him actually getting married, which would remove a lot of problems from my life.' Agatha and Gil run into the circus and join. In order to play off the time they spend together trying to plot for whatever it is they found out on CW, they pretend they're already dating. Gil is ecstatic. Agatha has mixed feelings. Krosp is also there, and keeps them from actually doing anything Of That Nature.

When the royal family of Sturmhalten invites Agatha to dinner, Gil insists on coming along. He'd been behind the scenes doing tech support for most of the show, so he hasn't been seen yet, but he's not letting his fake girlfriend go alone, especially not to Sturmvoraus... unfortunately, he can't pull out his name to force the issue, and so Agatha must go alone.

Gil, unsurprisingly, decides to follow along 'in hiding' and has three different fights with smoke knights before he gets to the castle, just in time to see them escorting a drugged Agatha out of the dining room.

Obviously, he confronts Tarvek (even though it's 90% Aaronev's fault).
