Laughing at decorations

Do sims laugh at every piece of decoration? I tested both cheap and very expensive pieces of art and with multiple sims, and I never get a reaction that's not laughing 😭 I would prefer them not do that when viewing the museum pieces, is that possible to fix somewhere?

I've found the no laughing at signs mod but that doesn't effect the View interaction it seems. Any tips? :')

does anyone else struggle with liking what the paint? I just feel so inconsistent in my "style", im always doing different things i feel, and not good enough and I am Tired™️ of feeling that. I know it's not healthy to compare myself but I keep doing it anyway, there's just thousands of incredible painters and I feel like I won't ever get There, whatever there is. would like longer stretches of peace of mind pls
