The trooper had been working hard to make sure that he was kept up on his duties previously that day.. which meant that now he had time to do what he wanted to. and that time was going to be spent on his most recent prank. Hands were busying themselves with the components of the prank, brown eyes focused on the pieces and making sure that they were doing what they were supposed to.
A cackle left the trooper, hands moving to shift from one big component to the next part to start putting it together and set the first part down. It’s not until he heard the approach of another trooper that the browns of the trooper’s eyes turned up towards the other and his attention was held there. Was that... “You new here?” He looked like he was.

It hasn’t been very long since everything happened with the Rhydonium.. The droids and their colonel left a few months ago and the commando has been hiding himself fairly well trying to keep a low profile. No attention pulled to the soldier, at least for now. But they were searching for the person that caused the rhydonium to explode.. that would be an issue... He was told they would send a search party.. and it’s something he didn’t hold high hopes for. Who would come looking for a lone clone?
That thought is pushed aside when one day he heard the sound of voices--most of which sounded similar.. That he moved from his hiding spot.. helmet tucked under his arm before shifting to raise his free hand.. “I’m Captain Gregor of the Foxtrot Group. what’s.. left of it, anyways..” There was a hitch in his voice with the last few words, honey gold eyes shifting from the ground back to who much have been the commander. “I.. I was at the battle of Sarrish.” There had been so many lost there.. So many bodies.. So many casualties.. He couldn’t let that overwhelm him now.. but he was a sole survivor.

The mission was serious, lives were at steak--and he knew the commander would be eager to get started as he entered the hangars for the drop ship zone, his own Commander in tow. This terrain wasn’t his battalion’s strong suit... But he could lend some help with his Commander and assisting in the field.. His assignment was to take Cody and retrieve the parties that were in trouble.. “Monnk, go prepare the field squad to assist Commander Wolffe, I will be alright.” The order is met with a Yessir! and the clad green trooper headed off to do his part.
The amphibious jedi shifted, relaxed posture kept as he folded his hands behind him. “Commander Cody... It’s nice to meet you. I’ve heard good things.” A signature smile, eyes lighting up some before he shifted to continue forward. “I assume you would like to get started on our mission sooner rather than later.” He wouldn’t keep the commander here knowing there was a job to be done. “We can talk on the way.” The smile brightened some as he stepped onto transport, moving to stand where he was out of the trooper’s way.

some believed that the commander had free reign over her missions and general outcome , whether that would be good or bad . however when this woman had been assigned to admiral varn , there was a certain extent of professionalism she needed to carry with her at all times . indeed iden had brought the empire many victories , still her performance was lacking with this mission . the lack of respect for a superior would only help her dig a grave . for varn had little patience for people that could con respect the chain of command . almost ironic to see a well known woman act up .
he began pacing her , slowly stalking her like hunter its prey . knowing that making a public spectacle out of her would only worsen the situation . ❝ no ? after the failed mission you just reported , one would think that proving themselves is a must . ❞ ocean eyes looked down upon her , using his rank and status to gain the upper hand - besides knowing that all of this would eventually lead to complications within her own squad . ❝ do not presume to hold a higher standing simply because your father is a war hero . without the name versio , you are basically nothing . ❞

A mission away from the 501st, asked to join recon for the Star Corps.. it wasn’t something he expected part of his Captain’s training to be part of. He would do his best regardless. Soldier stood at attention, his shoulders squared and head held high while he awaited instruction. Bly had insisted he relax, though the soldier wanted to make a good first impression. The commander circled the bridge, captain-in-training staying put while the other spoke to the jedi he was to work with today.
When the general turned, the soldier’s posture straightened, only to be told to stand at ease by the commander. “Happy to serve, sir.” Hands are tucked behind his back, shoulders staying squared. “As I understand the mission is recon--I read the files before my transport made it here.” Serious about his job, wanting to do his best when it came to the rumor that Captain Rex may be getting a promotion in the near future. He wanted to do his best as Captain. He had big boots to fill--with an example to follow like Rex..
silence falls between the two, and her gaze trails off from the jedi for a moment. with a quiet voice she suddenly speaks up. “ what if he’s already gone? and what if im not strong enough to help him? or myself? ” her tone was different than before. now it had a hint of sadness, and pain. arms come up to her chest, crossing tightly. her palms grip and hold tight to her arms as she continues to look at nothing. anything to avoid his gaze. and as sudden as it was, her realization of the words that just fell from her lips hit her like a ton of bricks.
“ im sorry - its not fair to think such things of him. ” she shakes her head and lets out a sigh. “ its just.. stupid thoughts, master. ” a forced smile appears upon her lips and she begins to step away before he can say anything, hoping that she could sneak away.
