Agathis robusta
Young Queensland kauri don’t be fooled by the silhouette of the Norfolk behind it!. I thought was a moore’s kauri for a long while due to the linked publication. However based on what I am learning about different agathis morphology and some helpful Inaturalist identifications about it. I am confident it’s robusta for now. If I have my facts st aight It was Planted along side koghis kauri and an nz kauri in a row to show their differences and observe their growths. the latter nz kauri unfortunately died and was removed a long time ago. Koghis is still there and doing well. Photos are from two occasions at the start and middle of 2026, photos also featuring a fledgling magpie super cool and freindly bird, matching, perched with his Australian tree.
