Katherine had just gotten to New York following a lead about a shape changing entity in the area. Though the hunt was obviously going to be harder than she thought in such a big city. Especially with a toddler at her side. Though she didn’t let this get her down. She had to find more like her.

She stopped by one of the places the creature had supposedly been seen. She walked around the building, coming to an unused room. She peaked inside. There were a few decorations and some covered furniture along the walls, but otherwise the room was practically empty. “Now Felicity, don’t touch anything.” She spoke to the child that had just let go of her hand.

As the two explored the room, a sudden crash came from a far corner. “Felicity. What did I tell-” Her sentence was cut short when she saw a ghastly figure. Not a shapeshifter, but a ghost.

Felicity screamed as she was picked up by it and that’s when Katherine shook off the surprise. “Hey! Jerk! Leave my sister alone!” The last word was distorted by a roar-like sound as she started to change. Fur began to cover her form and she grew only slightly taller, becoming more animalistic but still humanoid. Though this, of course, did nothing to scare off the ghost, who only laughed at the woman’s attempts.

"Caudi--... Hem," he realised it had been so long, she would not recognize him. Petruccio smiled, "Buongiorno. What brings you to this old ah... Building?" He gestured a thin, rat like hand to the old villa.
