The thing is I understand the latinxs. I understand being discriminated in your own home because they can't stand diversity. I understand trying to hold onto your heritage because they are gonna treat you like it anyways, because they are obsessed with your DNA. I understand trying to find your place in the world. I understand that having your own identity questioned wherever you go drives you crazy.
What I don't understand is your lack of responsability over your heritage. I don't understand saying that you belong to a place that you don't know, that you don't want to learn about, and that you are not willing to defend. I don't understand how you can simply take stereotypes about your country and accept them as a reality. I don't understand how you can actually beilieve that hating another latino country can give you points of identity. I don't understand how you can't understand that no matter how much you hold onto your heritage, how many citizenships you have, because at the end of the day you live in a first World country, you are as ignorant about our culture as any white gringo, and you don't want to learn either.
You don't want to be a part of us. You want to stay above us, aren't you? Because that's how you treat us everytime we call your bluff.
