Had a puzzle idea.

You can only use 4 colors to color-in a 9x9 grid, each square on the grid has an imaginary color assigned and a visible number written on it. The number denotes the amount of neighbors of the same color that the square has.

An observation on the search option.

My @444namesplus blog often features posts that, due to rules of generation, have the "name" Anal in them. As a word, it is a short and sturdy structure that is very likely to generate.

Sometimes, I need to pluck a namestash post by a name that originates from it. I type the name in search, boom: Instant find. Same goes with namestash post number; As I numerate them.

Anal?

Cannot find it. Search suppressed. Nope, no Anal here.

Check on the Archive and use Ctrl+F to bring up the same word: At least seven matches after a couple scrolls.

Is there a way to average out a shoreline in like...

Ok I gotta formulate this.

Every piece of land has four points, each being the most northwest, northeast, southwest and southeast. The shore lines and borders between those four points are to be treated as like... A graph 📉 function.

Now, if we were to separate the country into different other polygons, say a triangle (northwest, northeast and south tips), and shuffle the arrangement of those lines...

Like, a country is a shape. We get that shape and force-break it into a set amount of graph function "sides". Then we put them like... 📈📈📈📈 this, all in one orientation. We can deform them to fit the country's border texture onto a circle for example.

Concept: Pokemon, but all of them are klyntar.

So hilarious to me that I can use anything as a battle map by pretending it's something else, or like.

Look, I can make a whole world with continents shaped like the logos of Adidas, Puma and Nike, and by limiting the maps to just *regional* ones, as ain't nobody going to have to travel the whole planet in a TTRPGS campaign, no one will know.

I. Just, can take TF2 maps layouts and use them for battle missions. Literally, "protect the castle" and it's Dustbowl, "storm the secret base" and it's Gorge. I could steal forts from the Mad Max game, missions from For Honor, plots from iunno - The Boy and the Darkness. Superpower attacks from Warriors of the Universe mobile game. Character origins from Mortal Kombat.

I can yoink names of places from obscure irl places and no one will call me out for it. Off the top of your head, spot the real toponym: Derenk, Farberwell, Jikanmura.
