There are a hundred ways he could respond. So many less-than-kind words float in his head. Since when is the Ascian concerned with SAVING anyone? This whole bloody mess is their fault. They are the single largest threat to all the shards and the source. He had remained civil to the other, so long as he continued to behave. He is unable to kill the man, but he could hurt him. So many things he could say, but instead he just chuckles.
“If I want advice on how to destroy, I will come to you. Your kind is not known for saving anything. Surely, you have better things to do than bother me.”
