u have to wait until someone else who has it messages u first. also tbh it isnt that bad, u can make it so only mutuals can msg u and theres no online status or “seen at” or “USER is typing…” shit. so all in all it isnt as horrible as it sounds tbh

yeah i’m pretty chill with it tbh, i had problems with it bc i thought it replaced the “reply” function but apparently not so. crisis averted. i’ll see how this works out--it seems convenient and i don’t want to lock it to mutuals only but i’m scared i’d get overwhelmed by it so...yeah
