No, people suck. Judgmental people that don't bother to get to know someone for who they are and rather write them off simply because they ran into some negativity in the past relating to the Resident Evil fandom. No offense, but there's rather annoying fans in every fandom, but that doesn't mean every single person in that fandom should be grouped together. Everyone is their own person -- they should not have to be punished for what another has done. There's a lot of writing opportunities here & if people would just shut up and move on from the past, a lot of beautiful things could be written.

I’ve heard a lot of bad stuff about the RE fandom tbh, but then, I’ve frequently seen if not followed like a good dozen blogs in it and never once seen anything questionable about them or their blogs?? it’s an unfortunately pervasive misconception
I don't even know everything that went down but I know for a fact that we are all people (unless you're some weird super robot thing from the future???) and we all have feelings. You are correct though -- I have not personally run into anyone that gave me a negative vibe & I do not believe that I come off that way either, so why must I along with the others be punished for something that isn't true or even directly related to us? All I want to do is write & I do not enjoy feeling like my every move is being watched.

It was not directed at you. I have heard this before from others and I know the reputation that we apparently have is partly why people are scared to join the rping fandom for the resident evil franchise. I'm upset about that because it seriously sucks.
