They stifled a snicker, yeahh.. Not something a normal civilian would say unless they knew who Phoenix was.
But this Phoenix knows better! Tsk tsk tsk, what a silly mistake to make!
And metal chair? Yikes! That's SO not right.
The muttering was barely perceptible to them, could've sworn they almost heard Reginald being called by name… Huh. Probably just misheard it.
The static rose, and so they tried to fix it slightly in order to keep the connection more or less stable. Tuning noises.sfx
"MHhh… It's better than the floor, that's for sure!" There! Tuning done.
A silly idea came to mind, then a little grin to their face.
"Say, how about we play some sort of game? I'm basically stuck here until something interesting happens.. I'm SO bored." they pouted dramatically as they leaned against their elbow on the armrest.
"Got any ideas?"
There was some static before the voice came through again. It seemed like this mystery person believed that they were a totally normal person.
"You're right, the chair is better than the floor!"
The voice asked about a game and Phoenix wasn't one to turn that down. "I'm pretty bored too so why not? Hmmmmm what games can we play on the phone?" They thought about it for a minute before coming to a conclusion: "Ooh! How about two truths and one lie? I'll go first: I committed arson yesterday, I have blonde hair andddd I'm currently procrastinating going to the ER because I hate hospitals."
Phoenix barely registered that these were not activities that normal civilians would usually partake in. Their lie may not have been as convincing as they thought.
