Tags: 2nd person pov, gender neutral reader. Very fluffy but I tried to stay in character! Set in the crab era. Short but sweet.

Plot: Snuggles with your boss & coworker. Naturally.

The incessant beeping of the alarm clock by the bed stirred you from slumber. There's a groan from the other side of the room as Agent Stone reached over to turn it off. Your eyes slip open just in time to see as his arm wraps firmly around the doctor again.

The Doctor is in the middle, of course. Where else would he be? He deserves to be the centre of attention. Especially after his recent defeat. He needs it. You wrap your arm tighter around him as well, hand slipping slightly under his shirt, feeling his side. He's an older man, and his skin isn't as soft as it once had been, but that's alright. The slightly rougher texture is nice. Ooh, there's a scar around there too. Better avoid that. Don't want to hurt him. You and Stone both snuggle up closer, seeking his warmth.

“Ladies, ladies,” the Doctor grumbles jokingly, “there's enough of me to go round.”

Stone chuckles under his breath.

“I dunno, I might have to steal you all for myself, Sir.” He joked.

“HA. As if.” The Doctor shifted slightly, quietly wrapping his arms around the both of you. “Need two people to keep me warm. I'll be too cold with just one.”

“Naturally.” Stone nodded, before looking over at you, smiling softly. “You know, you've really picked two good cuddle buddies, Sir.”

“Mmn. I sure did.” The Doctor grinned smugly.

It's been like this for a while now. It's just become the norm for you to cuddle up with your boss. Whilst the Doctor was in recovery, you and Stone had been sleeping anywhere you could. Chairs. Counters. The floor. You'd take turns staying up and watching him. Sometimes, if you were both too tired and you were sure he'd be alright for a bit, you'd nap together, using one another to stay warm. When the Doctor had healed up enough and had discovered what you two had been doing, he insisted sharing began. It's hard to know if it was really because he was concerned with your back pains, or if he just felt left out. There was always the chance it was both, you suppose.

You quietly talk with them for a while. Discussing breakfast, the Doctor's livestream schedule, who's getting groceries... etc. etc. It's awfully domestic. None of you want to get up, not really.

“.. I'm not that hungry, actually. Five more minutes?” The Doctor mumbles, and he just sounds oh so sweet when he's tired.

“Five more minutes.” You and Stone mumble in sync. He reaches to hold your hand, squeezing gently. You squeeze back. The Doctor sighs contentedly, in absolute bliss.

Give this man you love time and affection.

He definitely doesn't know how to really show many emotions like madness or jealousy he tends to be really pouty and whiny when someone else has your attention.

And yea, it seems kinda cringe or corny, right?

But we gotta remember that stone doesn't get much attention from robotnik so we gotta give our man stone some cuddles.

He likes being either spoon when cuddling. He doesn't really mind being the the hig spoon sometimes after you've had a long day,but sometimes he feels like he deserves being the little spoon. So def gotta let hi, be the small spoon sometimes

He most certainly shows his affection thru acts of service,making sure most if not all your needs are met from cooking to laundry he tries to do anything to make sure your life is easier so you can have spare time for him<3

Agent Stone (Sonic Boom AU) dating headcanons!!!

Secret dating of course duh!!!

This man can not let Dr. Robotnik know that his dating someone who’s friends with his enemy

You as Sonic’s friend as well won’t tell him or anyone that you’re dating Stone

Most of the time you and Stone would meet secretly in the middle of the night and go on small, calm and simple dates

Stone would always look out for you even if Dr. Robotnik is around

Secretly of course

You both got in contact after the first time you got hurt bad and twisted your ankle

He visited in the middle of the night and put roses on your doorstep with a “get well soon” card with his initial, rang the door and ran far to watch your reaction

Of course seeing the “S” on the card you couldn’t think is could be Stone and thought it might be Sonic or Shadow or anyone else

This man is a big cuddler

He’d take you in the middle of the night to watch the sky in a deserted garden and would cuddle you the entire time

He wouldn’t let go of you unless it’s necessary

Secret texting and sweet messages

Always makes sure you’re okay and asks if you need anything over text

He’d even text you if him and Robotnik are about to come with a new robot so he knows you’re prepared so you wouldn’t get hurt

Would never, and I mean NEVER, think of crossing your lines with anything

Even if it’s the smallest thing

He once wanted to hold hands but you didn’t feel comfortable enough to do so, after telling him he understood and after he would always asks if he can hold your hand or touch you

Loves it when you steal his googles/glasses and wear them to start acting like him

He’s look at you and admire you while you make fun of him

Wouldn’t dare of hurting you even if Robotnik asked him to

Once they kidnapped you to lure Sonic into their base, Stone made the ropes loose and always checked on you and got you everything you needed secretly

Remember when I mentioned how he got you roses with a card that have his initial on your doorstep?

Yeah that’s your guys thing now every morning

He’d write your letter because he thinks they’re more romantic

You’d keep these letters in a secret box under your bed and would put the roses in a vase in your room to see them first thing in the morning

He’d also keep one of the roses with him so when it gets dry he’d know when to get you a new bouquet

If he doesn’t see you at all for a day he would sneak in the middle of the night and wake you up just so he can see you and hear your voice

Would always take special breaks from working if you ever need him

He’d wait for you in a secret spot and would listen to you rant about what’s bothering you

If you ever cry during so he’d wipe your tears and kiss you all over your face until you start giggling, pet your hair and take you in for a gentle comforting hug

Robotnik *can* cook, but he's a busy man. And Stone likes having you in the kitchen as a helper + taste tester.

Very experimental; even tho Ivo's very particular, he wants you to have a broad pallet.

Sometimes, Robotnik bakes. Pastries, even, because it's about precision. And he likes showing off. Also likes having you taste test, even if it's just for his ego. (And maybe he likes knowing he can make you happy idk)

Stone would 100% be a house husband if he wasn't contracted as a personal assistant. Man is 100% DEVOTED to Robotnik, and you by proxy. He doesn't mind cleaning, cooking, taking care of y'all, as long as he can stay close.

Meanwhile, Robotnik would be a house husband just so he could stay in the garage and invent. IF he wasn't already so devoted to fieldwork.

Neither is great with bedtime stories, but they both try. Stone wants you to have a normal-ish childhood, and Robotnik wants what's best for you. They review anything before they buy it, so it ends up being, like

Stone - "This one looks cute! Talking animals, life lessons."

Robotnik, flipping through it - "Childhood language development comes from hearing a wide, complex vocabulary. This is.. quite lacking."

Stone - "It says 'for beginner readers."

Robotnik - "Fine. We'll need something more complex just to read to them."

They can spend legit HOURS looking for something they both approve of. Not because anything's inappropriate, or because they disagree.

Robotnik's taking those parenting books and mommy blogs to HEART when it comes to your education.

Stone is there to ensure everything is still fun.

guys would anyone be interested in an agent stone or wade whipple x reader fic where sonic and co realise that stone/wade likes the reader (who is a resident of green hills) and sonic in particular tries to play matchmaker? i have so many little ideas and scenes but i think this idea is cute. i think it could work for stone or wade so let me know who you'd prefer, or i'd be open to writing a version for each of them if the interest is there. if it were stone i'd write it as post-sonic 3 and he's running the mean bean because i think that's a nice idea. maybe i'll be silly and shadow works there too.

Hello! Thanks for the request. 💖 It looks like that link currently leads to an empty page on my end so I’ll be using my own interpretation of Villain Stone. Also, for future reference, I prefer not to write based off of other people’s work and I won’t unless I get a fic request from the OP directly. This just ensures that everyone’s boundaries are respected and gives me some peace of mind. Don’t fret about the request since this is my first time making this announcement.

A Little Push

Villain!Stone x Reader (past Stobotnik x Reader)

Things have been tough for the both of you since the Doctor sacrificed himself on international broadcast. You’re worried that you might be on track to lose your other lover too.

It’s been a long six months. Days drag on like years and months drag on like centuries. Everything is a reminder of what you’ve both lost. The crab was barely salvageable after the flooding and even if it wasn’t, the memories would have been too painful to endure. Yet even the new hideout the two of you have constructed feels haunted by the ghost of Robotnik. When you close your eyes, it’s almost like he’s there looming over you and making snide comments about your work that hide his approval. You’d turn to Stone for comfort but he’s disappeared, morphed into this new creature that you can’t quite make sense of yet.

You briefly turn away from the badnik you’re tinkering with to look over at Stone’s workbench. He’s muttering lowly to himself as he polishes the blue metal frame of his prize hedgehog shaped project. No longer does he wear his immaculately tailored black suit. Instead, he’s donned what’s almost a carbon copy of Robotnik’s old uniform. A rich royal purple instead of the bright red with shiny gold accents amongst jet black embellishments, he cuts a stylish figure in it. His beard is as neatly groomed as always but he’s allowed his hair to grow out a bit.

His appearance isn’t the only evolution he’s made. Where he was once kind and helpful towards you, he’s grown cold and closed off. He only talks to you to give you task after task as he works to achieve his master plan. You don’t mind the work. It’s a welcome distraction. You do mind the blankness in his eyes, no longer warm and affectionate. The thought of revenge is the only thing powering him these days. There’s little room left for you.

This behavior from Robotnik never phased you because you knew it was just the way he was. You expected it from him and over the years you had learned to read between the lines. You knew what was a genuine rebuke and what was merely part of the shield he kept up around any part of himself that he considered weak or emotional. It’s different with Stone. You feel like you don’t know anything anymore.

You sigh loudly and stretch, looking at Stone out of the corner of your eye. You’re half hoping he’ll turn and scold you for stopping. At least you’ll have his attention on you against instead of settling for the crumbs he gives you between his diligent plotting. He doesn’t. So you stand up and walk over to the fridge to grab yourself an energy drink. He refuses to keep coffee around anymore. You miss his lattes even if you never quite developed a taste for goats milk. That part of him died along with the Doctor.

“You want one?” You ask, taking out two brightly colored cans and nudging the door closed. He doesn’t respond. You walk over anyway and place his on his work desk, pushing it into his line of sight. Seeing him up close makes your heart ache. He looks absolutely exhausted and the dark circles under his eyes look like bruises. You wish he’d let himself sleep.

He reaches for it and pops it open without saying a word, gulping it down and placing the empty can on the table with a wince at the caustic taste of it. You pick it up and toss it into the trash. Your hand hovers above his shoulder. You yearn to be able to tug him away from his grief for a moment, to hold him in your arms tightly until his mind calms. But you hesitate because you know you couldn’t take the hurt if he pulled away. You can’t handle losing him too.

Your courage falters and you remove your hand and turn away. But before you can walk away, a hand reaches out to grab yours.

You turn and your gaze meets a pair of deeply sad eyes. His eyes have always been so big that you feel like you could drown in them. A sharp pang of sorrow flares in your chest. You wish you knew how to help him. The metal avatar of Sonic lays spread out on the table, chest panel open revealing a mass of wires. No heart, lucky him. You bite your lip as an idea comes to you.

“What are you? An imbecile?” You snap at Stone as you point down at the robots chest cavity. Stone’s eyes fly open even wider in shock at your harsh words. His mouth gapes open. You’re rather surprised yourself at the words that just left your mouth. But there’s some instinct inside you that pushes you to keep going.

“That thing is a total mess with all those wires. I expected you to be a little more efficient than that Agent, but I suppose I can’t expect too much of you.” You sneer. A dark flush covers his cheeks at the reprimand and the hand grasping yours tightens.

“O…of course. I’m sorry. I’ll fix it right away.” He stammers, nodding sharply and releasing your hand to fiddle with his project. You reach out to grab his jaw, once again forcing him to meet your eyes. Your thumb grazes over his pulse and you can feel it racing.

Interesting

“And where’s my coffee. I’ve been forced to live off of this disgusting swill. I need a latte if I’m going to get anything done around here. Since clearly you have bitten off more than you can chew.” You pick up your unopened energy drink and wiggle it in front of his face. He swallows thickly, a new familiar look in his eyes. His shoulders relax slightly, a new relief flooding his frame.

“Of course. One latte with…”

“Steamed Austrian goats milk”

Your voices join in unison.

Unshed tears begin to build up in the corners of his eyes as he finally stops repressing all the pain he’s felt. He needs this. He’s needed this. You’ve been gentle with him but you should have known that approach wouldn’t work.

You don’t expect him to tug you into a tight hug as he buries his face in your neck. His shoulders shake as he sobs quietly against your collar. You don’t say anything. You just hold him to you as you rub gentle circles on his back. The fabric of his coat is soft and velvety. You focus on that as you allow him to grieve as long as he needs. His tears cause your shirt to stick wetly to your skin.

You’re not sure how much time passes before he pulls away sniffling. His eyes are red but the way they look at you is soft. You can’t remember the last time he’s looked at you like this. You didn’t realize just how much you’ve missed it. You needed this too. You glance down at the wet spot on your shirt and give him a small smirk.

“What disgusting affection. Were the waterworks really necessary?” You chide him but there is no heat to your words. He laughs and gives you a grin that’s brighter than the sun. He leans forward to kiss you and you lean into it, soaking him up like a flower finally getting a glimpse of sunlight after a long dark winter.

When he pulls away, his smile is sharp and the look in his eyes is maniacal. It’s thrilling and your heart beats faster at the unhinged look in his eye. His will for revenge is stronger than ever but this time he’s no longer paralyzed with sadness. It’s time for real action now. You’re going to be right beside him.

“Latte…and then we crush that hedgehog!”

Now it’s time for the true villainy to begin.
