“I know now isn’t a good time, but…you look really hot tonight,” Bobbi told Clint, trying not to look at him in a certain way and failing miserably.
The corner of Clint’s lips twitched as he walked up the steps with his wife to the gala they were attending. It was work of course. He’d never go somewhere like this if it wasn’t for work. He hated dressing in tuxedos. They never seemed to fit him right and they itched. Not to mention they were crazy expensive, so he either had to pay an insane amount of money or rent it. And if he rented it, then they were too short in the legs, and usually it’d get ruined anyway, so he’d end up paying after all.
But knowing Bobbi liked what she saw made it very worth it. “Excuse me, ma’am. I’m a married man. I’d appreciate it if you kept your eyes to yourself,” he teased.
He turned his head and looked her up and down. She looked pretty damned good herself in her gown. “Though, you might tempt me away.” He shook his head. “Nope. Nope. You can’t corrupt me seductress! We have people to find. Where did Nat say to meet them again?”
