Spencer looked up from the invitation at Eddie. “Oh, hey,” he said, his voice cracking in surprise. He rubbed the back of his neck to calm himself down. “High school reunion. Hard to believe it’s been twenty years.” He held up the invitation, trying to keep his tone light.

This was one of those days were  she was left ALONE, no one telling her to dress up or go out. In fact, she’d been in her room with the music up loud enough to not hear anything. She’d been alone. Beautifully alone. That was how she prefered it, nowadays. She once  wished for people to talk to her, to want her around. But now, people were only interested in her because of her soon-to-be status.

     And if this was about MARRIAGE, she’d need another glass of wine.

Summer was fast approaching. It was obvious in it’s most purest form -- heat. Still, the boy hadn’t removed his jacket at all throughout the school day. Hands didn’t even fumble with his zipper -- even now as he began his journey home though it was a dreadful one. His tall frame seemed to move somewhat slowly -- like a body being pulled by some other force. It was a droopy kind of depressing walk compared to those who moved around him -- rushing home to do whatever they were so excited to do. Finish homework and play video games or something, but that was not the life Forrest led.

A large clump of light brown hair covered one eye, swishing with his movements, but always returning to that spot -- covering the bruising of pale flesh in hues of purple, red, and a bit of yellow. He’d pissed his mom off the other day. No one bothered to ask where he got it from because no one at school really cared. He breathed -- heavily, adjusting the strap of his backpack on his shoulders. The sun was a blazing demon -- burning at his flesh underneath his jacket and making his whole body feel icky and damp, so he decided to take a short cut.

There was a neighborhood that had plenty of trees and even a college campus. He didn’t pay much attention as he walked by. Hadn’t expected to catch anyone’s attention. Most times he felt truly invisible and wondered if he really existed at all.

eddie/abigail ehehe

always wins when they play Trivia Crack: abigail 

laughs when their partner trips on something: eddie bc he’s always the one getting hurt

would drop ice down the back of the other’s shirt as a joke: eddie does it to abby all the time but sometimes she climbs on a counter behind him all spy like and drops it and there’s usually a lot of flailing

spoils the ending of books/movies: they both ruin crime shows for their friends uwu

always posts a picture of the other as their MCM or WCW: abby always finds the ugliest picture she can find of him and everY WEEK HE GETS IT

eats the last piece of cake in the fridge before the other can have it: eddie does because abigail has just given up trying

obnoxiously celebrates Monday Punday every week: ab because its her one way to get back

makes loving hack posts on the other’s Facebook/Instagram/Tumblr/Twitter etc: abigail

has to beat their partner in every game: eddie

keeps their partner up half the night talking about random stuff: ab does it the most be he def does it to her as well

eats too much garlic and tries to kiss their partner anyway: abby tries buT EDDIE SUCCEEDS #talladvantage
