 he  has  no  time  to  even  think  about  pulling  away  or  otherwise  complaining  about  the  fact  that  she’s  braiding  his  hair                   he’s  done  it  himself      ,      and  he  can  just  feel  that’s  what  she’s  going  right  now      .      he  reaches  up  when  she  steps  back      ,      pressing  his  fingers  along  the  braid  until  they  finally  find  the  little  shell  she’s  managed  to  get  in  there      .                                  ❝          do  i  look  good      ?          ❞                        he  grins      ,      pushing  his  hair  in  front  of  his  shoulder  and  shaking  his  head      .

veronica had promised him drinks, so — here he was. full in his trench coat glory, black hair tucked behind his ears and long limbs spread out to take up three chairs, you know just in case veronica wanted options. he had a beer sitting on the counter behind him. the wood was digging into his back, cigarette dangling dangerously as he let the clover laced smoke drift into the air. “took you long ‘nough, luv,” the man purred when he finally laid eyes on her.
