"What is it?"
I'm in need of a group verse. A high school AU group verse. With all of the parents. I just feels. Ignore me, I need to stop thinking of verse ideas.

Melissa could still remember the day he proposed. He'd been acting so strange for days before and she'd been worried that the not so quiet whispers of his family and their disapproval of her had finally taken their toll. He'd asked her to dinner, made reservations at her favorite restaurant, and she'd convinced herself that the end was near. Most of their evening consisted of her near tears, worrying herself sick over whatever was to come with Kyle looking distinctly like he was going to be ill at any given moment and it all kind of came to a head before they'd ever even ordered dessert. "Melissa," he'd said. "There's something I--" "You're making a mista--" "--Will you marry me? Wait, what?" And in the end, they'd laughed over it, had laughed until they'd nearly cried because how could they both be on such different pages? But maybe it was that very night that set the tone for the marriage that was to come.
My drafts number just kicked me in the ass oops. Okay, I'm account hopping, but I'm doing drafts.
On a side note; How I ask Caiti how 'okay she is':
"On a scale from Darach took my dad to the girl you're in love with, kissed you, how okay are you?"

The knock on the door came right in the middle of her DVR marathon. Melissa didn't even pretend not to be annoyed as she groaned and stood, stretching out her sore muscles after a thirty eight hour shift wherein four of her patients died. She was not in a good mood, but it only plummeted further upon seeing her ex-husband's face in her door way. "Scott's not here," she said as soon as she opened the door. "And you're still not welcome."
