okay so I just watched seasons 1-7 of supernatural in the span of about 2 months and I was just wondering of you could clarify things for me. Has it ever been confirmed that chuck is god? I mean when I watched Swan Song and I saw the end I was like OMG HE'S GOD but they just left it alone and never revisited that. So can you tell me what's up with Chuck?
It has never been outright said "chuck is God" on the show but they've provided us with some pretty huge clues that he is. First off in Swan Song Chuck is seen (dressed in all white) basically musing on "getting things right" as if he was the one who decided how everything was going to happen. Personally I think this is where the big reveal is because they first explain Chuck's job as a prophet as writing down what God wants him to write, so then why would he have to try to get the ending perfect on his own if God had already told him exactly what to write? Then in 5.01 when Chuck says he can feel the presence of an angel in the house, this is definatley not something a prophet can do. Also in 8.07 we learn that only one prophet can be alive at a time and since Kevin is the established prophet and we never saw Chuck actually die, that only leaves one option, Chuck is God.
