People are dying because people will do that. It’s not because of a goddamn cold that’s been blown out of proportion but rather because sometime people just die. It’s not a fucking crisis, it’s the state of being alive; expecting the government to keep everyone from dying is ludicrous and just goes to show how badly you need a good stay in a psych ward.
It's really sad that not only do you not care about the state of things- shown by your lack of empathy for mass amounts of people dying by an airborne illness that everyone, including yourself and loved ones, can get- but the fact that you felt the need to send this to me.
I assume this is about my rant post on masks, so I'll be frank: I'm sorry whatever it is you're going through that made you think sending someone something like this was okay. But I'm not going to take back what I said, because masks have very much proven to be efficient in curbing illnesses, including basic common colds.
The fact that you're on anon tells me a lot. You wanted to vent out frustrations, you saw me with an aggressive opinion on a hot topic, and chose to try and fight against it with your aggression because you don't know how to cope with whatever you're going through in a healthy manner other than online bullying.
It's not okay to do, but I understand. Not your situation, I don't know a damn thing about you, but the fact that you felt the need to do this tells me you're clearly upset- message aside- and wanted to release it.
I forgive you. I'd really love to tear apart some people with my bear hands and stinging words right now- being homeless during a pandemic that no one seems to care about any more and every place I apply to for a home gives me a no: it's a lot. I'm really going through a lot right now.
But it doesn't make it right to take it out on others. It's not their fault they're full on people in their apartments. It's not their fault that I was given a month by my landlord to find some place new.
But it's not my fault either. I didn't ask to be given a month. I didn't ask to leave either. But things happen, and sometimes I just have to roll with it. You do too.
So I forgive you.
But I'm not going to lay down and let you talk to me that way either. Do better. Grow up. It's all we can do as people if we don't want to die a shallow, sad, and hate filled life.
