in fairness we've all been very distracted by things like chapter 12 and chapter 99 and fuCKiNG KELSIER the RAT BASTARD. Ahem. But I feel like we as a have been kind of ignoring "We. Chose." The legend in Maya really jumped out right then, and also I'm proud of Adolin for thinking about how she'd spoken for him, then correcting that to how she'd spoken for herself. Honestly just. Iconic chapter.

youre right we need to be talking about maya...first of all that reveal was so important like i remember a few months ago being baffled at the idea of the radiants willingly sacrificing their spren considering how close all the relationships weve seen are but now it makes sense.....that whole scene was insane we had adolin seeing red cause they were deliberately hurting her and then the reveal? a deadeye speaking? we knew since ob that she was vaguely revived through adolin’s infinite supply of mutual love and respect but SEEING it???? seeing her speak up for him but also for herself and the rest of the dead spren???? miss maya said icon moves only

How do you define a skill challenge? In SE I know it's distinct from a skill check but I'm not sure if that applies to 5e.

It’s different from a skill check, and Matt has used them in the past for sequences like when they built Willy in the Folding Halls and escaped through the jungle in Urukayxl. Matt was also going to implement one to navigate the ship through the storm if Fjord and Caleb committed to the blood ritual in Dashila’s altar.

That’s the general sense of how I’m thinking of it.

You're one of those people who just like. There's a certain kind of energy where you see someone vibing in your dashboard and it feels just a little bit more familiar. Like you're seeing a fellow regular at a cafe or something. But one you actually like lmao. Also your experiences in general seem so different from mine and it's nice to get different perspectives, especially from someone who seems to share similar fundamental values to me.
