A social media being used as a social media?
No way
Anyway I've found this like subsection of Nintendo media called Aging software
I would call it a game but it isn't
Usually it'd be in those diagnostic test softwares like the gamecube service disk
Or many such equivalents, I all nintendo hardware has a version even if they get more unimpressive as time goes on
But to my main point.
Aging was a part of these tests.
A long form test to see where the hardware fails by stress testing it for 30 minutes with visuals and sounds testing each part that could fail.
And these tests, well more specifically the snes one is like
Eerie to me? Not because its inherently scary but its something you aren't meant to see.
And I guess that alone triggers my fears.
The coolest era of these are the snes-gba
But thats because they have more to test, and therefore it makes it obvious what is being tested.
The eerie factor also amps up because in some versions of the snes aging test they use a rendition of the disney theme.
(Note, its because legally despite disney using that song they don't have it copyrighted so anyone can use it. I don't know if its "when you wish upon a star" or the name of it so thats why this is a note)
I just needed this dumped out
Theres a lot of footage of these on youtube and some hidden info on the cutting room floor
