Jungkook POV:
I was sitting in my chair working on my laptop finishing my work for tomorrow. I sighed & rubbed my temples. It was past midnight, but working this late was normal for me. Being the Mafia boss of the biggest & most fearful mafia group in Asia wasn’t easy. I was getting a headache from working on my laptop for so long, so I put my laptop aside & went to the kitchen to get a drink of water. While I was drinking water Tae hyung came in, “You still up?” he asked looking at the clock. “You seriously surprised about that?” I asked. “No, unfortunately,” he sighed. “Kook you should go to bed it’s very late now, you have a mission tomorrow, so u can’t be tired. I’ll finish your work for you.” he said. “it’s ok Hyung, I can finish it.”, I said. “No!” he said firmly. Knowing I won’t be able to change his mind, I got up & went upstarts to my room after thanking him.
Tae hyung & I have been best friends since we were kids. Our parents were in the mafia business together. When we were kids, it was decided that we would take over the business together. But after we graduated, Tae hyung went to America, & stayed with his mom. His parents were divorced. We still kept in touch though. So my dad & his dad decided that I would take over alone. But a few years ago he came back. He didn’t want to take over together, cause he felt he wasn’t experienced since he was gone for a long time, so he now works as my assistant. I’m very grateful to have him by my side. I put my thoughts aside & went to bed & immediately fell asleep.
~The next day~
I woke up & started getting for work. I had a meeting with my rival Kwon Ji-Yong. His dad was my dad’s rival. & because my dad became the mafia king instead of him, the rivalry has continued even though we took over our parent’s positions. While I was getting ready I noticed something on my arm, It was my soulmate’s first words, “y-yes t-thank you”. It wasn’t there yesterday, so they must have turned 21 today. I turned 21 3 years ago. & all this time I never got my soulmate’s first words. So I always thought I didn’t have a soulmate. I finished getting ready & made my way downstairs to the kitchen.
Jungkook’s look:
He entered the kitchen to meet with a sleeping Tae with his head rested on the counter. “Hyung wakes up, go sleep in your room. You don’t need to come to work today. I’ll manage without you.” Jungkook said waking up Tae. “Are you sure?” Tae asked sleepily. “Yes, you worked all night & finished my work for me hyung.” even though Jungkook was a fearful mafia boss, he wasn’t cold-hearted, he cared about his friends, family & loved ones. But no one knows that this side exists in Jungkook, only the people close to him do.
~Time skip~
I reached the club where Mr. Kwon wanted to meet. Some of my men were there secretly in case he tried to do something. I was trying to find my way around here. I got lost & found myself in the back of the club. Suddenly I heard a girl screaming, I tried to just ignore it & find Mr. Kwon, but something told me to go help. I quickly went towards the sound & saw a man touching a pretty girl inappropriately. I quickly got him off & he ran away. I turned towards the girl, “are you okay, baby girl?”
Y/N POV:
My eye’s when I heard what he said. He was my soulmate! I was about to thank him & tell him he was my soulmate, but I noticed a logo.
BANGTAN! That was the name of the most powerful & fearful mafia group in the whole of Asia! I got scared & decided not to mention he’s my soulmate & just thank him & get out of here, forgetting my first word were probably on his arm too. “Y-yes t-thank you”, I said & ran away, mentally cursing myself for stuttering. I quickly walked to the dance floor & grabbed Chaeryoung & quickly dragged her towards her car. “Woah! Why are you in a rush to leave so early?” she asked, “I’ll explain later but let’s go home first.” I said.
Jungkook POV:
“Y-yes t-thank you”, the girl said & ran away. My eyes widened realizing she was my soulmate. I quickly went after her, but I lost her in the crowd. I sighed in frustration seeing her getting in her car with her friend. I quickly called one of my men & told him to get the car quickly so I could follow her I needed to talk to her. I called Tae hyung & asked him to come here & talk to Mr. Kwon on my behalf & made my way outside. I got in the car & followed her to her house.
Y/N POV:
“YOUR SOULMATE IS THE MAFIA BOSS OF BANGTAN!??”, Chaeryoung screamed after I told her what had happened. I nodded at her. “What are you going to do now?” she asked. “I don’t know yet, but I’ll figure something out,” I said. “Oh ok. I have to leave now. Be careful & call or text me if you need anything.” I smiled at her, “thank you & I will don’t worry, " I said, I said hugging her goodbye.
Jungkook POV:
I followed her home & saw her getting out of her car with a friend, so I decided to wait outside till her friend left. After a few hours, I saw her friend leaving. I waited for her to close her door so I could sneak in. I got out of my car & started looking to see if a window or balcony was open. After searching I found a window that leads into her room was open. I climbed up & got inside. I saw she was sleeping so I took the syringe that I bought, & injected it into her neck. Then I took her to my car & drove to my house.
Y/N POV:
I woke up with pain in my neck, I looked around & found out I was not in my room. I panicked. Then I saw the door open & someone came in. It was the mafia boss. “I know you must be scared right now, but you don’t have to as long as you listen to everything I saw & follow all my rules. & don’t even try to escape. Don’t worry though, I won’t harm you, after all, you are my soulmate. & I’ll take very good care of you.” he said with a smirk. “You’re the mafia’s soulmate now.”
