“Looks like someone is lost.~” Soft melodic laughers can be heard from different directions. “If you are looking for the village nearby here, don’t bother. They are all eternally asleep unless you want to be too.”

Phantasos was sitting on one of the branches of the tree, looking down at the strange man. Her brothers had already left. After attacking the village as per their father’s orders, they were about to leave when they sensed an intruder who was not a normal human or a saint. They left the task to their sister to investigate who the person was while they left to report back to their father.

“But you are not from this world, are you? Who are you?”

It’s dark out.

It’s dark out, yet multiple people are outside; hustling and bustling in this crowded town, just trying to do what they got to do.

Car horns honk, people yell at each other, and food sizzles on the stoves of restaurants.

It’s fairly busy in the city; just as it always is.

Yet, there’s one person in the crowd; one person who seems slow in comparison to everyone else.

They walk along the street, swaying side to side as their head swivels around, mouth slightly open. The upper half of their face isn’t viewable because of a simple, straw hat covering it, obscuring the look of her eyes.

His clothes look a bit too big for him, barely noticeable scratches lining them.

Nobody in the city pays any mind to them, though; just walking along and minding their own business.

This is the city, after all; and everyone’s just trying to get what they do done.

Brown eyes squint as Prathamik looks through the almost broken window of Ramshackle dorm, catching sight of a tall- too tall man standing within the field.

Who the hell is that???

He doesn’t have the Night Raven Academy uniform on him- and while he could be a teacher, it’s heavily doubtful.

The Prefect could ask the man what he’s doing here, but if he gets aggressive, Prathamik has no means of defending herself- not with Grim at another’s dorm.

…I’m just gonna ignore him and hope he goes away.

She closes the blinds.

It's said with the underlying veil of a threat as he approached, watching Sternritter H storm off while their grandmaster simply walked away moments after, his gaze went back to the other as he tapped the end of his blade in irritation.

"You should have let them kill each other. We both know the Grandmaster would have put a stop to him."

"What was the commotion about?"

Pink eyes staring at a familiar figure.

Dull smile pasted on Kanao’s face, despite the five demons on the ground- almost bowing to the man in front of them; yet they can’t be, for their shoulders are too tense and their arms are bent in an unnatural position, bodies shaking as if they’re pushing themselves up against something.

And the only person that doesn’t seem to be bowing is the one in front of them; the same man the slayer met three months ago.

Kanao doesn’t dare closer to the demons bowing low to the ground; it knows that it’ll be in that same position they are.

In the dead of night, that’s the only thing audible.

The young teen creeps along the village, barely moving any sort of inch with every move he takes. She stays close to the walls, anxiously looking side to side every time she has to cross a place.

“Why me, why me, why me…?” They mutter, tears already leaving their eyes.
