One time I made a checklist diagram thingy for a specific fandom b/c lots of people were drawing a specific character white despite how brown his skin was, and people got pissed b/c I showed that the main character (who is white) can be drawn with darker skin but not the character of color.

idgi bc fandoms tend to whitewash characters of color and ignore ppl criticizing that but then get so upset when you make a white character or a character with a lighter skin tone have darker skin
