As his eyes flashed open he realised he was still there…in the cave, his limbs bound, mouth dry as stone and sweat trickling down the side of his face. He was used to waking up here now, though he had no idea how long he’d been trussed up, only this time he wasn’t alone. A woman was by his side, shaking him from his nightmare, her face so seemly, so honest that he couldn’t have mistaken her for anyone else. “Sigyn?” Floki whispered, mustering all the strength he had left.
