The Ocean
Every single waking hour my heart still screams Abandoning each little grasp of sanity I wanted to escape from your gravity Yet my strength fails me My heart still beats for the ocean The blue sky and the stinging sun on that summer noon The waves still hum our tune Oblivious of the crying nights and fights that will engulf us after In that moment, we are glorious All the magnificence of the earth continously brings us nothing but sunshines and rainbows The rainshowers softens our beating heart with each drop The hummingbirds sing of love denying the owls of wisdom from our carelessness Abandoning this sight, the clouds grew gray Each wave scarier than the other, bringing heavy hearts and cold rain The sunshine froze, never to be thawed Things will never change you say
