There were always some benefits to being the son of a lawyer, especially when your father was a personal lawyer to such a wealthy man. Though, for Alex, this wasn’t something that ever really interested him in the slightest. Even after he had returned from overseas after graduating from university, Alex preferred to just go out and spend his time hanging with his friends and even partying whenever the chance arose, though when his father would tell him they had a special event to attend he had no choice but to dress up in formal wear and do as his father asked.
Tonight they were supposed to be having dinner with the one man that his father worked for and had done so for a few years now. Alex on the other hand never really cared for meeting these people, though apparently he was supposed to meet them tonight for some reason or another, he hadn’t really been paying much attention to his father’s instructions on the way over to the restaurant they would be meeting at tonight.
As he follows behind his parents, the three being escorted to the table that was reserved for this little dinner party, he is already thinking of ways to get out of having to stay. Should he ask a friend to call and act like there’s some sort of emergency? Nah, his parents would know right away if he even tried anything. This thought alone makes him sigh softly. He was definitely doomed to the torture of fancy dining tonight whether he liked it or not.
When they finally reach the table, he hears his parents speak, apparently to the family that had invited them out tonight. His father quickly looks over at him, eyes narrowed as a warning to be polite. “Hello, I’m Kim Alex. Thank you for inviting us.” He says this with a slight bow, his tone if you listened close enough, clearly showing that he wasn’t interested in even being here. He takes a seat next to his parents, however when he finally takes the time to look at the female who is directly across from him he freezes in place, eyebrows furrowing together as he recognizes exactly who she was.
Alex had, had his fare share of bodies over the years and could hardly remember most of them really, though the female in front of him was definitely one that he wouldn’t be able to forget even if he tried. How could he? She was definitely a lot different personality wise from the usual women he had slept with before.
