Full Menu on @perthfoodmenu or click #PFR_AhBengKopitiam Love this hidden hole-in-the-wall Indonesian restaurant that serves up a wide variety of Indonesian dishes not seen elsewhere. Level 0 spicy is already quite spicy for the noodles. Really enjoyed the ayam pop - there were tomato flavours and a sweetness to it - glad it wasn’t as spicy as the other dishes (the sambal on the kangkong was a killer - very fragrant and sweaty-scalp-inducing). The beef tendon Gulai is so soft and tender. Lots of collagen with tendon = good skin. Having spicy food here is very nice and “syiok” in the cold weather. They have so many other dishes that I want to try - always a case of my eyes being bigger than my stomach. Their complimentary fish crackers are so good too! They do catering too and make a lot of different chilli sauces. Fun Trivia: “Ah Beng is the hokkien pronunciation of the chinese name 阿明. Ah Beng is used stereotypically to describe a young hooligan/gangster that is intimidating, materialistic and not so good in his studies.” #AhBengKopitiam #Langford #Indonesian #IndonesianFood #PerthIndonesian #LelePenyet #AyamPop #Satay #SatayBuntel #Gulai #PFR_Indonesian #PerthFoodReview (at Ah Beng Indonesia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CdNz0p4v5Zv/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
