not to be weird but even as a kid I often dreamed of proving my loyalty and strength by going through the kidnapped + tortured combo... the idea of someone desperately, frantically looking for me, reducing everything to ashes because they can't think straight if I'm not there, they can't rest until they know I'm safe again... especially within an enemies to lovers dynamic...
