I still don’t have words to describe this film. Or to describe this band, really… I don’t. I’m totally overwhelmed.

Coldplay: Thank you. For everything. I truly couldn’t find a better, sweeter and kinder band to love even if I wanted to.

A little recap

So, last night I was lucky enough to see the AHFOD film and let me tell you guys, IT WAS AMAZING!! I went by myself (it was my first time doing so) and I do not regret it for one second.  The moment the film started my eyes filled with tears and I had to literally force my eyes to stay open, otherwise, I would’ve missed out on a good chunk of the movie. I need to rewatch it, once just wasn’t enough What I loved the most about the film was how open and sincere it was. They were not scared of showing us their most touching and beautiful moments as well as those times when they struggled the most. It really makes you appreciate all the effort they put into making their friendship work. I loved how the film focused on friendship and love. I left the movies feeling so refreshed and happy. I fell in love with Coldplay all over again and I didn’t think it was possible. I’m so happy to have found them years ago. I’m so happy to have spent so many years with them and I can’t wait for what’s to come. Lastly, I’m so happy to be part of this community. There weren’t a lot of people watching the movie with me but we all went there out of our love for Coldplay. I love you Coldplayers all around the world. Last night really felt like a party.

Well, I LOVED the entire film, really. My favorite part has to be all the early footage, it’s so incredible to see them so young, and to see how they’ve dealt with all the challenges of their career and their personal lives as well. It’s just overwhelming to see them back then and to know where they will be so many years later. 

I can’t say I have a least favorite part of the film because I’m in love with it, but I would say they rushed the Mylo Xyloto Era a little bit. Compared to the other Eras, it’s obviously the Era that they focused less. It was probably an editing decision, but I would love to see more footage of the Mylo Xyloto Era, mostly because it was the time that I deeply connected with them.
