every tenth question on the most recent ask thing!
I’m gonna assume that you’re referring to Make Me Admit Stuff, because if it were Put A Number In My Ask And I’ll Tell You My Favorite then you wouldn’t have said “question” and you probably would have said “10, 20, and 30”. But if I’m wrong, let me know, and in the meantime please enjoy this flood of unasked-for information.
10 (last beverage I had): Water, surprisingly. I don’t actually like water very much, but I was pretty thirsty.
20 (am I starting to realize anything): Lots of things just now, actually. Mostly kind of downers. Like “I don’t know what my purpose in life is and I’m not sure if I ever will.” But I’m only 19 years old… I guess those sorts of revelations are par for the course at this age. It’ll pass.
30 (does everyone deserve a second chance): I think that you deserve a second chance if you’re genuinely remorseful. If not… I guess it depends on the circumstances. Like, I’d give a second chance to a friend who forgot to pay me back $10 and didn’t seem very sorry about it, but I wouldn’t give a second chance to someone who really hurt me or someone I care about and wasn’t sorry. Unless they felt sorry afterwards, that is.
40 (why did I kiss the last person I kissed): I’ve never kissed anyone.
50 (ever used a bow and arrow) Yes, actually! In 9th grade, on some sort of wilderness retreat. I wasn’t very good at it (pretty sure I didn’t even come close to hitting the target), but hey, it was my first try.
60 (wear slippers?) On occasion. I have a pair of large, colorful slippers that I sometimes like to wear. They’re quite comfy.
70 (is there a profession I picture my future spouse having): I can’t really think of anything. I wouldn’t be surprised if they ended up working in high-tech, though…
80 (hot or cold tea): Hot tea, all the way. Iced tea is one of the few drinks I cannot STAND. But hot tea is lovely.
90 (opinions on marriage): I’d like to get married one day. I quite like the idea of it and the level of commitment that it signifies, but I know that some people don’t want to get married, and that’s fine for them.
Thanks for the ask!
2, 13, 36, 50,56
2 (what would I name my future kids): There’s a tradition in my family to give the oldest child a name that starts with S. Aside from that, I haven’t thought a lot about it. Probably something unique but not too difficult to pronounce.
13 (how do I feel right now): Pretty good, thanks for asking! I’m going to start working with my town’s first aid squad soon, and I’m really looking forward to that!
36 (3 dreams I want to fulfill): Become a hyperpolyglot (someone who speaks 6 or more languages), start a family, do something that has a positive impact on the world.
50 (favorite picture of my idol): There are lots of people I look up to, but here’s one I’ve looked up to since childhood:
This is Eliezer Ben-Yehuda. He devoted his life to reviving the Hebrew language - it was actually a dead language for centuries until he came along and brought it back. I’ve always admired his dedication, and the fact that he basically gave Israel its national language! I wish he were alive today so that he could see how Hebrew is doing right now. I’m sure he’d be thrilled.
56 (favorite foods): Basically anything with melted cheese, anything with chocolate, Pixy Stix, and iceberg lettuce for some reason.
Thanks for the ask!
ahhblondzilla said: i relate to a lot of this. hope you feel better.
Thanks. Hopefully I'll feel better after a good night's sleep...
(for the most recent ask thing) cup, english, injury, love, naughty, teacher, zoo
Okay! Sorry this took so long, I had a couple of tests today.
Anyway…
Cup (tea or coffee): Tea! All the way! Especially ginseng and gen mai cha.
English (how many languages do I speak): My native language is English, I speak Hebrew and Spanish pretty fluently, and I can converse to some degree in Japanese and French. So if you count all of those, five.
Injury (have I ever walked into a glass door): Not that I can remember, but it sounds like something I might have done in the past.
Love (do I believe in marriage): I certainly believe that it exists.Serious answer: I like the idea of it and I fully intend to get married one day. I also know that there are lots of people who aren’t too keen on marriage and have no intention of getting married, and that’s cool too.
Naughty (three things my parents disapprove of): When I forget to do things I ought to, when I don’t confide in them enough, and when I sit in my room on my computer all day.
Teacher (what do I aspire to be): A good person. Someone who has a positive impact on the world. In terms of occupation: no idea, maybe a doctor.
Zoo (favorite animal): Probably cats!

you don’t have to justify gender nonconformity/transness/non-cisness, even it doesn’t seem to align with common experiences. good luck!

Oo thank you! =O Things I like about myself huh!
1. I like that I love to share food related experiences with people! I think it’s a great trait because it makes meals a lot more fun.
2. I also like that over the years I have stayed relatively stable? I have kind of always been on the same trajectory as a person, steadily getting better. It makes me very predictable but I don’t mind that.
3. I like that, hobbywise, I tend to dabble in a lot of areas. I’m not an expert at anything like carving or gardening or drawing, but I still get valuable experiences that round me off as a person and enjoy myself.
4. I’m pretty great with kids! I like this because I like kids in general but also because I like money. *and being great with kids can get you money
5. I inherited my mum’s hands and they are chubby and elegant with a little freckle on my right hand’s middle finger’s knuckle. 8)
