It was the perfect ending to Loki's arc. Heartbreaking and bittersweet, a full circle moment where he finds his purpose, activates his power and becomes stronger than he's ever been.
The part that had me trembling and crying is when I saw Marvel finally giving Loki the respect he deserves. The respect he's deserved all along. He wasn't used as a plot device. He IS the plot. He IS the story. He's more powerful than ever. He's heroic. He's courageous. He's selfless.
And Marvel, no we didn't miss the nod to Norse mythology when Loki stayed in one fixed position for all eternity.... we see you.
