Obama's vanity prevents him from acknowledging that he has been conned by his favorite Clockmaker, even after the Bomb hoax was readily apparent to everyone and the hoaxer returned from a visit with an accused international war criminal.

"It will be some time before it’s clear whether the story of Ahmed Muhammad, aka “clock boy,” has a happy ending. After being arrested last month under suspicion of bringing a bomb disguised as a clock to his Texas high school, the 14-year-old won the world’s sympathy, a scholarship fund, gifts, letters from business executives, meetings with world leaders, including the president of the United States, and now a free high school and college education in that blossoming center of innovative science and technology—Qatar. 'It’s basically like America,' said Ahmed’s 18-year-old sister, Eyman. Of course, the tiny Gulf emirate that hosts the world’s leading anti-American satellite network Al Jazeera is nothing like America. Unlike America, for instance, Qatar produces only one thing—natural gas, which it would be incapable of producing or getting to market without Western technology. Qatar’s financial resources have allowed it to import all of its prestige from the West, including museums, the 2022 soccer World Cup, and of course U.S. educational institutions. In short, Qatar is a vulgar parody of America and other Western societies. Talented students from the Gulf Arab states are typically sent to America because their parents know that education in the Gulf region is unlikely to help them win a real job in the international market. Saudi Arabia, for instance, tends to value engineers no more than students who memorize the Quran.... [In Qatar,]... Ahmed ... has two very big strikes against him—he’s a foreigner and he’s black. In the intensely hierarchical scheme of Gulf sheikhdoms, this puts Ahmed somewhere on the pecking order only a little bit above the Asian guest workers, who the Qataris treat like farm animals. In time, Ahmed and his siblings will learn that Qatar isn’t like America at all.... The family’s announcement of their decision to move to Qatar, a day after meeting with Obama, suggests that the episode was part of some bizarre scam engineered by Ahmed’s father, Mohamed al-Hassan Mohamed.... We just got played for suckers, especially Obama. It’s instructive that the president of the United States got played worse than anyone since it’s a typically American story, in spite of the Middle Eastern flavor. Some have conjectured, perhaps wildly, that Ahmed’s father is working on behalf of Islamist parties. Who knows? The reality is that the episode won him a meeting with major Islamist figures, like the prime minister of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu and the president of Sudan, Omar al-Bashir. In fact, Mohamed al-Hassan Mohamed wanted to challenge Bashir for the presidency in the 2010 elections, but the Butcher of Darfur, as the accused war criminal who has ruled Sudan since 1989 is popularly known, wouldn’t have it. Did Mohamed’s political aspirations set the clock-scam in motion? Well, now he’s got personal contacts—and photographs!—with an impressive roster of world leaders. And his son is a role model—persecuted by racist Americans and welcomed back to the region by adoring fans. How is Bashir going to prevent a hero’s father from running for office next time out? Surely, he’s in line for a ministerial position—and the money that will follow as a consequence. ... Ahmed’s father is above all a con man.... It was so easy to play the president. Did [Obama] really have to tweet an invitation to Ahmed to come to the White House before he knew the whole story? ... And why after Ahmed and his family met with [Omar 'Butcher of Darfur'] Bashir didn’t Obama rescind the invitation? What’s this kid doing meeting with a mass murderer? I would like to just say "good bye and good riddance, don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out," but I am sure we haven't heard the last of this nasty piece of work. He just finished a "World Tour" with a meeting at the White House and an appearance with "a U.S. Congressman who, along with nearly 30 other members of congress, have asked the federal government to investigate whether anti-Muslim discrmination prompted Ahmed’s arrest." Something tells me he would never get away with bringing a pencil case full of loose wires and clock parts to school in Qatar. But then why would he need to? There are very few infidels he could scream "Islamophobia" at in Qatar. After it has already been revealed that his sister had previously been suspended for terroristic threats, and his father has posted "truther" and 9/11 conspirator theories on Facebook, I particularly like the following quote, which basically rebuts itself in the second sentence: "Meanwhile, Ahmed has become a villain—dubbed “Clock Boy”—on right wing websites that claim the family has Islamist ties and plotted his celebrity. There’s been zero evidence shown for those conspiracy theories, though Ahmed probably didn’t help his optics by meeting last week with Omar al-Bashir, dictator of the country he was born in and an accused war criminal."

The family of a 14-year-old Irving student arrested for bringing a homemade clock to school earlier this month has retained lawyers and is seeking to regain his science project from the Irving Police Department.

"IRVING -- The family of a 14-year-old Irving student arrested for bringing a homemade clock to school earlier this month has retained lawyers.... The Irving high school student who was arrested for bringing a digital clock to school now has a lawyer. 'The family says that Ahmed has been severely traumatized. The family wants justice and to ensure no family will ever have to experience what Ahmed went through again,' a press release sent Wednesday stated...." ================================================ Obama's favorite Muslim Clockmaker took apart an old clock, threw the guts into a pencil case, showed it around school and was arrested when he got beligerant and unresponsive when questioned about it. His family refused to discuss the issue with school officials and refused to release police records so that all facts could be known and reported by the media. Instead, they brought in Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas - linked CAIR activists and started crying "Islamophobia!". The Media lapped it up, spreading the Islamophobia storyline around the world, while Obama immediately stepped in, praising the bomb-hoaxer, declaring "Cool Clock!" and inviting him to the White House. Colleges (e.g. MIT) quickly followed with offers of future admission acceptance while companies (e.g. Microsoft, Facebook) showered him with gifts. (see my link in a previous post with photo of Ahmed grinning behind a huge pile of electronic products he was given) Furthermore, the bomb hoaxer has received nothing but endless praise from the Mainstream Media. One had to go to various online sources to learn the truth about this issue. For example, so far as I have seen, the local Atlanta CBS news station (46) has ONLY reported the false Islamophobia charge along with Obama's reaction and repeatedlly labelling Ahmed an engineering genius and declaring he has a really bright future. I have yet to hear CBS or other mainstream news media report the facts that Ahmed did not actually build anything, that no one harrassed Ahmed when showing his "science project" to multiple teachers, that he was beligerant and passive aggressive when finally questioned by school authorities and police, that his family has refused to release the Police report, that his father and sister are Islamic activists (e.g. his sister previously had been suspended for making terrorist threats), or that CAIR is a Muslim Brotherhood front group and Unindicted Co-conspirator in the largest terrorism funding trial. The ONLY thing the mainstream media has reported is the false storyline that an innocent young Muslim engineering genius created his own clock and was arrested as a result of Islamophobia. So, how exactly did he get "traumatized?????"

Student's: Ahmed's 'Clock' Looks Like a Bomb Another video regarding Obama's favorite genius "clockmaker." This time, random students are shown a photo of Ahmed Mohamed's purported 'clock' and are asked to identify what it is. Typical response: "That looks like something bad, ... like a bomb!" I like the interviewer's response near the end: "I don't think Ahmed has much future in clockmaking." I suspect he will have a big future in continued employment with Islamic Supremist groups such as Muslim Brotherhood/Hamas-linked CAIR, instigating other fraudulent claims of Islamophobia.
