OOC:

1.       I’m a huge Giger and alien franchise fan.

2.       I never had a teddy bear so I hugged myself once because of a massive feels attack, and because I was that pathetic, one of my best friends got me one. Happened this year. Story of my first teddy bear. Where was my childhood. Apparently not there.

3.       I think Shostakovich looks like Harry Potter.

4.       I think Dan Stevens looks like David Bamber’s younger cousin.

5.       Impressionism is one of my favourite art movements.

IC:

1.       If the Mikaelsons turn me away, I would leave town in a heartbeat and never return.

2.       I’ve never once mentioned this, but sometimes I become annoyed when people fail to speak in complete sentences.

3.       When my daughter was young, I’d worry so much over her safety. I still do, though the concern is mostly limited to werewolf bites.

4.       I hide romance novels.

5.       I miss doing the waltz.

The bar was crowded - just the way Texas liked it. He relishes in the freedom that came with being single and whistled over to the barmaid. "Shots!" he called to her. She nodded and filled up a few glasses with spirits for him before setting them on the counter. He sat himself on a barstool, his white button-down shirt crinkling a little over his jeans as he seated himself.

AU! Where Liz is Lilo's babysitter

In the relatively cool Hawaiian afternoon, Lilo's eyes were still stinging, even though she'd stopped crying.  Her fingertips pressed against the glass of the dress shop carefully.  That day at school had gone worse than any that she could draw from memory.  For people she had thought had been her friends, they could be really vicious.

But Liz had taken her and Stitch around to the other side of the island to a tourist trap of a town, filled with shops that sold the tackiest things, like the hula dolls you could but in your car and they'd dance when you drove or grass skirts made out of the same grass they put in Easter baskets.  They had actually bought themselves some, and were walking around wearing them.   Lilo had also gotten a disposable camera, and for that afternoon, she felt like she was six again.  Running around, taking pictures of tourists and having one of the best days they could possibly have.  If it was even possible, it was better than David's remedy for a sour day.

"Lizzie," Lilo called, tossing a kernel of popcorn at the woman, half-hiding behind the couch. "Lizzie!" Another kernel. How had she even fallen asleep? They were watching a movie about DEMONS for goodness sake! Quietly, Lilo crept to Elizabeth's side and got up close to her ear, raising the bowl of popcorn menacingly. "Liiiiiz." A wicked grin spread across the Hawaiian girl's lips and she looked to Stitch for a go ahead, then shouted, lowering her voice to make it sound demonic, "TASTE THE BUTTERY CONFECTION OF THE UNDERWORLD!"
