. Location | Islands Brygge, Copenhagen, Denmark . Here we see the A-house, named after its shape seen from above. To the left of the building you see the so-called C-house for its similar shape. The building was constructed in the 60s by Thorvald Dreyer as an industrial hotel where smaller firms could rent a part of the building. It was never a success and was often left empty, but was used as a office building until the 2004. The building was then used by creative people and artists before it was renovated from 2007-2010 and housed a hotel with commercial shops.
