it's a long way down over lovers' leap, but falling's half the fun
val is not a woman to settle down with, have children and be a full-time housewife and wife. as much as she loves and supports those woman ( because they’re doing a hell of a job and deserve far more appreciation ), she can’t see herself wanting children; she loves her job too much. she won’t ever give up her career, for anyone, really. helping people is her true passion. and if she’d like to have children, she’d give up her career. her mother wasn’t exactly mother of the year and she’d strive for a different path. her children would get all the love, attention and respect; her job doesn’t allow a lot of time and it’s quite dangerous. but, as i mentioned earlier, val doesn’t want all that. she wants to put all her energy into chasing criminals and make the world a better place. while she tends to be the mom-friend and cares for her friends, colleagues and aunt very much, it doesn’t apply to motherhood. when it comes to marriage, val wouldn’t hesitate to say ‘yes’. she’d get married in a heartbeat. wearing a ring and calling herself ‘mrs.’ and ‘wife’ are the ultimate goals for her. it gives her security and safety and she certainly wants that. so; marriage + children: no. marriage only: hell yeah.
