Outback NSW 2022. This little succulent (not native) in a kerbside garden in Broken Hill seemed to almost glow in the sun. The pic really does not do the scene justice.
In the far west of NSW, Broken Hill is only half the distance to Adelaide as it is to Sydney.
Outback NSW 2022. Downtown White Cliffs as seen from the top of one of the “white” “cliffs”. We’re actually standing on the rock roof of one of the many dugout homes in this blisteringly hot (in summer) opal mining town.
Outback NSW 2022. A rock carving of local wildlife and landscape features at the visitor centre (just a shelter, really) in Mutawintji National Park. The top bird is a Wedge Tailed Eagle, the largest Australian Raptor. We were luck enough to see a live one not long after.

An interesting water feature in Strasbourg. I seem to recall it may have been part of a Roman aquaduct - but don’t quote me.
Everyone loves a slug. Especially one as pretty as this one found somewhere in the valley of Lautebrunnen.

Some cute little reindeer nibbling my friend’s lawn in Stockholm. They look a bit under fed to me.
