A heavy sigh emitted from the brunette's lips as she heard Jeremy slam his bedroom door behind him. She stared longingly down the stairs, wondering what Alaric's facial expression looked like right now. Wanting to comfort him, but feared he'd just push her away. He had the tendency in doing so. Maybe I shouldn't bother him, Elena thought, as she hesitantly turned away, but soon found herself spinning back around on her heels, now stepping into his view. "-- Hey.." Was all that escaped her parted lips, a faint, empathetic smile forming on her lips.
