Android 15/One UI Update Changing Basic Functions of Our Phones With AI

If you have an android and have recently updated your phone, you may have realized that Gemini is now an app there. Not only is it an app, but its also has a new and simple shortcut: Holding down the power button.

The thing is that for years, holding down the power button was for emergencies, shutting your phone down or restarting it. Sure, we may be shutting down our phones less, but that doesnt mean we replace that feature with more AI bullshit!

Luckily, there's still two ways for you to shut down your phone, even if theyre not the traditional route. I do wish you could remove the AI shortcut, but you cant for as far as I'm aware, but if anyone knows otherwise please let me know!

Before that though, don't forget to do your daily clicks!

Method 1: Notification Power Button

I didnt notice until now, but we do have a digital power button when pulling down for notifications. Clicking that will get you the options for powering down and otherwise

Method 2: Volume Down and Side Key

Android seems to have stopped calling it the power key and now calls it the side key in settings. Hold down the Volume Down button and ex-Power key and you should get the screen. In other words, its like taking a screenshot but just keep holding down

Its ridiculous that I have to post a tutorial on shutting down or reseting a phone in 2025 because theyre changing things to implement a program that a large amount of us dont want and that none of us need, but can't really opt out of. I do hope this helps someone and if you have an android and havent updated yet, DONT DO IT!

Four days ago, DeepSeek was updated quite extensively, and for some reason I wanted to share it with you!) Perhaps I want to show off, like, look what I noticed, ehehe))

I admit, I sin quite often, I enslave DickPic to develop my headcounts/continue my stories. My first note about 1.18.4, of course, was the "Expert" mode.

The newly added "Expert" mode is no different for me at all, except that now I'm complaining that all my old role-playing is in the "fast" mode. Perhaps the "Expert" was created for deeper work with external information (which almost never happens in my personal DeepSeek role-playing), or its coolness lies in the fact that it has more memory 🤔

But let’s go to the main thing: the most striking and scary thing for me is that the characters started to STICK TOGETHER! 🫂

Let me explain what I'm talking about: I have a character in a role-playing game who plays the piano. Just plays the piano, no maestro, no composer, nothing extraordinary. It's not even a central point about him. But the funny thing is that now ALL the characters around him have started talking about "sheet music", they mention that they studied piano at music school, and in general, the poor piano was passed around!

DeepSeek began to recognize and distinguish characters MUCH worse. The poor AI gets confused with key details, character traits, hobbies, and even the surnames. I gave every AvM character his own surname with love and overnicety picking it from hundreds of variants STOP calling Mr. Pastry EVERYONE around Blue, it’s not 4000 B. C., a bro is not a relative to everyone 😭😭

I just look how he generates a post where instead of your characters, you get some kind of big Megatron, made up of all of them at once, and you're like, "ah... uh... no, no, wait, not there-! Oh my God- the frick you doing”

In general, the characters are now stuck together noodles, and honestly, it really gets in the way! =( It really hinders immersion in the game, and in general, it feels like this dude is not listening to me and it doesn't need it at all 😭 I hope it will be fixed!

Please do not think that I’m writing some kind of terribly angry negative review here, DeepSeek is, in my opinion, the best AI model for free role-playing games. I just really wanted to share my thoughts =)

Четыре дня назад DeepSeek довольно масштабно обновили, и мне почему-то захотелось с вами поделиться!) Возможно, чтобы попонтоваться, мол, смотрите чо заметила, аляля))

Признаю, довольно часто грешу, кручу ДикПик не то, чтобы он развивал мои хэдканончики/продолжал мои рассказы. Моей первой заметкой о 1.18.4, конечно же, был режим «Эксперт».

Новый добавленный режим «Эксперт» не отличается для меня вообще НИЧЕМ, кроме того, что теперь я комплексую, что все мои старые ролевые идут в режиме «быстрый». Возможно, «Эксперт» создан для более глубокой работы с внешней информацией (чего в лично моих ролевых в принципе почти никогда не бывает), или его крутизна заключается в том, что у него больше памяти 🤔

Ну и самое яркое-выбивающееся-страшное для меня: персонажи начали СЛИПАТЬСЯ! 🫂

Сейчас объясню, о чем я: вот есть у меня персонаж в ролевой, который играет на пианино. Ну играет и играет, чо бубнить-то, это даже не особо центральный момент о нём. Но прикол в том, что теперь ВСЕ персонажи вокруг него начали говорить про «ноты», упоминают, что они учились в музыкальной школе на пианино, и вообще, бедное пианино пустили по кругу!

ДипСик начал ГОРАЗДО хуже распознавать и различать персонажей в принципе. Бедняга путается с ключевым деталями, чертами характера, увлечениями, да даже фамилиями героев. Чел, я давала каждому персонажу AvM фамилию, с любовью и неоправданной привередливостью подобрав ее из сотен вариантов, перестань называть «мистером Пастри» ВСЕХ вокруг Блу, он не в цыганской семье, у него не 1000 родственников 😭😭

Смотришь на то, как он генерирует пост, где вместо твоих персонажей получился какой-то один большой Мегатрон, слепленный из всех сразу, и такой: «а… э… не- нет, стоп, не туда-! Ай господи- да что ты черт побери такое несёшь»

В общем, персонажи теперь — слипшиеся макарошки, и это мешает, на самом деле! =( Очень препятствует погружению в игру в целом, и вообще, создается ощущение, что нейросетка меня не слушает и ей это все вообще не надо 😭 Но я надеюсь, это исправят! Полейте свой слипшийся ДипСик машинным маслом, что ли-

Не думайте, пожалуйста, что я тут пишу какой-то страшно-гневный отзыв с негативом, ДипСик — лучшая по моему мнению нейросеть из бесплатных для ролевых игр. Захотелось действительно поделиться мыслями и ваще )
