I finish my soup that Usagi made for me, it wasn’t much but I still appreciate her making me something. I put my bowel away and start walking to my mattress next to Usagi’s tent.
Heavy wind kicks up, flicking my hair in all places. I sigh. “Great, It’s going to rain again, just when I washed my jumper” I hug myself as Usagi looks at me from inside her tent. There’s a look of thought before she starts speaking.
“You can come sleep in here with me Y/N.. I don’t mind” I blush at the thought of being so close to Usagi, I really really like her. Even though we don’t have time for all the mushy feelings these days. That hasn’t stopped me from admiring her from afar and trying my best to protect her in the games. I walk over to her tent and crawl in, sitting next to Usagi.
There’s an awkward silence before she decides to break the ice. “Do you think… I’m pretty?” I look at her with a confused smile. “Uhm.. yeah of course. Why suddenly ask?” She shifts in her spot before lying down on her back. I follow her with my eyes, pretty was an understatement, she was the most gorgeous woman I have ever met. I don’t let the moment go to waste.
“Actually I think you’re the most gorgeous person I’ve ever met… seriously Usagi, I’m really glad I got to meet you. Your attractiveness doesn’t just stop at your physical looks but you’re gorgeous inside too. At least that’s what I think”
I hold my breath as I await her answer, sweat trickles down my brow. She gets up, sitting on her knees as she looks at me with an intense look. I seriously think I’ve messed up, I’ve said too much and now she’ll slap me or punch me. But she doesn’t, instead she leans in and kisses me gently on the mouth, I kiss back just as softly to convey I feel the exact same. Her lips part slightly letting my tongue roam the inside of her mouth. I let out a moan at the taste of Usagi, I only imagined doing this.
We stop kissing only because we need oxygen (unfortunately) but I immediately bring her push her on her back, climbing on top. Before I continued to do anything, she put a hand on my chest, “Are you sure?” I look into her brown eyes and smile. Chest expanding with love, I nod and dip into a kiss. slowly moving my hands to her shorts, slipping them to her ankles. Her chest rises up and down fast, eyes blown out with lust. I stare at her, full of love. Our silence says a million words as she starts to unbutton her yellow jumper, leaving her in just her underwear.
But before I could continue, thunder roars scaring me and her. I let out a little shrill before laughing. Usagi laughs along side me and pats the spot next to her, seems like she now wants to cuddle. Could be she’s afraid of the thunder. As I lay down she looks at me shyly, asking “Could you also… get undress. Maybe we can cuddle naked tonight? if that’s okay with you” A grin overlaps my face as I nod excessively.
After I get undressed we lay together limbs tangled and my hand running through her silky black strands. She lets out a relived sign. Maybe she was just as nervous as me to confess? It doesn’t matter as long as me and her are together, everything else is background noise. “I’m glad I met you Y/N, you’re the only person worth doing the games for… “ Usagi says in my ear. I nod “Same goes for you Usagi..” I lean and in kiss her, sealing the night with kisses and touches that we will remember forever.
