ok ok @goldrushzukka if you’re gonna make me all mushy over those tags, i may as well show you that i originally had 4 more panel sketches at the beginning of that comic that i left out bc i didn’t think my hand could handle finishing them. zuko cooing at momo and sokka noticing the lil speck on his chin. (i also had planned a final, humorous panel at the end where they’re blurred in the foreground and suki is just in the background like 👁o👁 but i never actually sketched that one :/)

and i also, as you can see, had the beginnings of a sketch that i had planned to be part of a second lil paneled comic of that moment at the end of chapter 3, where sokka reaches over zuko to reach the lamp and they Look at each other and there’s that absolutely world shifting “What if I don’t want that?” “I can stay.” so just know that it is still on my to-draw list
