"Gosh, did I look as bad as you do?" Clare chuckled as she waved at Aiden, who was waiting for her by the car. She was happy to be able to pay back the kindness Aiden had extended to her in her moment of weakness. However, unlike her, he was coming off celebrating another trip around the sun. The fact that they were both standing upright was rather impressive. The Flannery was far too much of a lightweight, as New Year's Eve had displayed. Luckily for him, they were going to indulge in the greasiest of fast foods and share the present she made for him that was tucked away in the backseat. "One, did you miss me? Two, how did the celebration go?"
