The Chronomancer wouldn’t dare ‘surprise’ her at work with anything even mildly sentimental, so he opted to leave it at her home, on her nightstand, like the creeper he is. Resting on said nightstand, she’d find a fancy box of assorted chocolates and a single red rose.
