Us Against The World || Aidrik & Atalia
It was mid-evening in the Slytherin common room; around the same time that most of the students would be in the Great Hall dinning on the regular warm delicacies that were usually served on cold nights, but tonight, the Slytherin table would be missing two of its head students. Instead of joining her fellow dorm mates down in the Hall, Atalia was locked up in her room carelessly throwing articles of clothing into a forest green duffle bag, frantically pacing around the dorm trying to remember what she had forgotten to pack. “Boots…check. Robes…check. Wand…check. Merlin, I swear I’m missing something…” She secretly wished that either Lyra or Sienna were there to at least help her pack; organization was never her thing. Atalia walked the length of the room again before sighing and stopping to check her watch. “Fuck it. I don’t have time for this.” Frustrated, Atalia marched over to her overstuffed duffle bag and threw it over her shoulder, before pausing to wave her wand across the room, clearing all evidence that she had been there that night. Nobody was supposed to know where she was going or who she was with; this would remain their little secret for the remainder of the few months they had left of school. Pleased with her work, Atalia stepped outside into the hall, closing the door behind her, and started to make her way down to the boy’s dormitories.
The closer she got to his room, the happier she seemed to feel. Tonight was the night that she was finally going to be alone with Aidrik; without the peering eyes of nosey students, this was going to be the trip of a lifetime. After all the drama and pain that she and Aid had been through, she thought it was about time that they deserved an opportunity like this to be alone and mend the patches that had grown in between them during the past few months. The wooden floorboards of the boy’s corridor squeaked and groaned as she neared the last door of the hallway. Without even knocking or bothering to let out a warning, Atalia pushed open the door into his dorm. “Comon Aid, we’re going to be late…”
