New Obikin Dolls

I was looking through the Obikin hashtag on Twitter and I found someone in Korea selling the dolls. They also had clothes, so I chose two sets. They came and HOMGGGFF. I am absolutely in love with them. You should have heard me squealing when I opened them. I am soooooo happy! I had told myself no more plushies or dolls, but I could not resist. Especially since they were a bargain! 40,000 won for the dolls and 7,000 won each for the clothes. That is roughly about $35 with the current exchange rate.

However, I fear this may have opened up a new can of worms for me. I want to get more clothes for them now ahahaha! That aside, I will be cherishing them!

Gorgeous Obikin Board Completed

Last year, I had completed my sexy Obikin board. Today, I finally finished the "gorgeous" Obikin board. These pins are all gorgeous and of amazing quality. The two planet pins and the stained glass pins are secondhand, and the rest are all new -- all on a custom made pin board.

The pin board maker is Foxy Puffin Designs.

The pins are made by KJones Crafts, Foundling Mercantile, and Hunter and Convor.

Mustafar AU Obikin Shadow Box Board

I finally got the package that I'd been waiting very impatiently for since March 8, which is when it left Chicago. I really thought USPS had lost this package, but it has arrived to me today, and it has absolutely made my day because my custom shadow box pinboard by Foxy Puffin Designs came! This meant I could finally put the pins I'd been using on my cheapo makeshift frame with a styrofoam backing onto an actual board.

I absolutely adore it so, so much. The starry black background is perfect for them, and I love all the pins. I honestly don't collect any Mustafar-related pins because I pretend that whole thing never happened (YAY FOR AU), but this pin was a MUST HAVE because it's totally AU and this is canon for me, ahaha! I must have my happy ending!

The crystal pins are from Celestial Faerie Trove, the The Song of Achilles pin is from Amanda Baldwin (I don't care that this pin is in regards to Achilles and Patroclus -- this quote still fits Anakin and Obi-Wan!!!), the AU and Happy Ending pins are from Foundling Mercantile, and the Mustafar pin is from Designs by Joe.

I am so thankful for all these small businesses and fandom creators!

Sexy Obikin VHS Board

After waiting weeks for the speech bubble pins (USPS sent it to Narnia, Middle-Earth, and the Labyrinth of Doom aka it went all over California), they have finally arrived! This meant I could finally put this Beauty and the Beast VHS board together with my sexy Obikin pins! I absolutely love this because it makes for a GREAT hiding place, bwahaha!

The VHS board was made by Foxy Puffin Designs. The sexy Obikin pins are from Sith Lord Pins. And the speech bubble pins are from Foundling Mercantile. Thank you to all the amazing creators!

PopMart Obikin Figures Got!

Guess who found the Pop Mart bobblehead figures of Anakin and Obi-Wan on Japanese Mercari? Guess who paid a lot of extra fees to use Buyee for the first time to get them? Guess who is happy to have gotten them despite the extra fees and is pleased to not go through the blind box hell and now have these adorable figures in her collection?

Me! These are super cute, and so worth the extra I paid to get them. I was going to take them to my work shrine, but . . . I fought so damn hard to get those teeny lightsabers on them, and I do not want to repeat that process in the event the lightsabers fall out during transport (or they get lost, which would make me super sad), soooo they shall stay home with my mini shrine with Artoo and their bigger selves!

Obikin Itty Bittys' Hats

Ahhh! I went to another city overnight and did some shopping. I didn't bring my Itty Bittys (which I regretted so much), yet I bought these bungeoppang and bunny hats in hopes of them fitting the boys. And they do!!! Ahhh! I am so happy! They look super adorable!

Obikin Self-Feedback on Their Performance Appraisals

At work today, I had to type up my self-feedback on my performance appraisal, and doing that gave me the idea of how Obi-Wan and Anakin would do their self-feedback, and this is what I scratched out in a minute. I had a good laugh at work -- oh, what one will do to keep themselves sane at work . . .

Apologies for my terrible handwriting . . . and Anakin's self-feedback really would have been one line if the notebook had been larger! But seriously, I had a good five minutes of fun today, haha!

Obikin Shrine Journey 2025

Last year I posted about my shrine journey. Here it is after collecting for another year! I have added many new things to my "platonic" work shrine. I hope to fill that board up next year. Anyway, I wish all fellow Obikin fans a happy 2026!
