boys i have a really important question. what do we think cbeeduos wedding song would be if they had a ceremony
okay no fuck you im pissed about this im gonna post about it even though i said i wouldn’t! peace love and light. i fucking hate it when people talk about disabilities and their disabled experience and lump everything together like its all the same. it fucking isnt! it fucking isnt and i feel like the only thing i ever see talked about is mental disabilities. talking about them is great! dont get me wrong! ive got a handful of diagnoses that fall under the mental disability category. there’s a lot of stigma around a lot of them, so spreading knowledge and sharing experiences so that everyone can get some perspective on things is great! however. i never ever see anyone talking about physical disabilities in that way. on the rare occasion that i see people talking about them, no abled people ever decide to reblog or spread the information in whatever way their chosen platform does that. there are so many important things that are absolutely fucking crucial to the survival to a lot of physically disabled people that so many people just. dont know about. and they refuse to learn. those same people will reblog a post about autism or a mood disorder or share a post about adhd or eating disorders or ptsd or something on their instagram stories. mental health is important, and awareness of mental disabilities is so important as well. absolutely no doubt about that. and im not saying that physical disabilities are more valid or more important or fucking. whatever. than any other kind of disabilities. but they are not talked about nearly enough for how imperative so much of that knowledge and information is to physically disabled peoples’ survival and functionality in the world. and it makes me so fucking angry. if you’re gonna be a “disability advocate” or say that you care about disabled people, make sure you’re actually including all disabilities.
i hope the mutuals are having a lovely day today
love is in everything.
it’s vast. it’s perpetual. it’s intense. it’s miraculous. it’s warm. it’s comfortable.
you see it everywhere in practically every single thing. walking your dog. going to school a little early to see your friends for a bit longer each day. opening a window to listen to the rain. telling someone that something reminded you of them. lighting a candle that smells nice. creating art. buying and taking care of houseplants. collecting rocks and neatly lining them up on a windowsill. cooking someone a meal. drawing shapes in the sand. carefully catching bugs and placing them back outside. sending your favorite song to someone. making yourself comfort food after a hard day. doing chores with friends.
each of these little, mundane, seemingly insignificant acts involve love in the most pure, human form. you know? the enjoyment of being alive. having consciousness. wanting to experience things because they make life worth living. creating things for people to love. wanting to share things with others and say “hey! this thing makes me happy! come experience it with me, i think you’ll like it too. let’s be happy together.”
we don’t need to do that to live. so why do we do it time and time again? who knows? but we will continue to do so, until everything is gone.
perhaps it’s because we exist to love and to be loved.
i love o!ranboo he is my cat
