I really like your post about ch 125! While I'm definitely happy that Kaneki finally feels loved to the point that he would be so vulnerable with Touka and that Touka was able to truly express her feelings to Kaneki after being separated from him for so long, I am worried that this bond they formed has or will lead to a sense of codependency. With Touka, Kaneki has only formed 2 really close relationships and the fact that they had sex doesn't change the fact that they both have deep issues

I’m glad that Kaneki opened up too. I think that whether or not their new relationship will lead to a positive development really depends on how well they’ll communicate with each other. If they manage to be open and sincere and if they do rely on each other instead of acting as lonely heroes, things don’t have to necessarily turn downhill. A majority of the issues they have with each other was caused by miscommunication, so it’s an easy fix. 

As for their individual character flaws, I don’t think that we’ll ever get a nice and easy fix for that. Mental issues, especially those with such deep roots, are hard to deal with. That’s why after my initial reluctance, I had to admit that this chapter wasn’t horribly written. People have flaws, and the way they react to what happens to them is also influenced by their flaws. That’s realistic though. There’s no real growing up in life if you don’t make any false steps. Whether or not they’ll be able to find their way despite them, really depends on how they’ll approach what’s to come. Personally, I’m very curious to know what will be their next step.

2. favorite anime opening. I don’t have an absolute favorite but I really do like the first Durarara!! opening.

8. least favorite anime genre. I enjoy a lot of different kind of anime. Maybe…horror…but just because I don’t watch a whole lot of horror anime. But, Another (which is kind of a horror anime) is one of my favorites.

30. popular anime you didn’t like. Tokyo Ghoul: Root A. I don’t know if it is considered popular, but I was disappointed with it. Went too fast and some things didn’t make a whole lot of sense.
