My best friend didn't invite me to my birthday party and instead invited a guy she said she hated because he's been rude to me....how do I even deal with this situation?
I think you should politely ask your friend about why she didn’t invite you. Like, don’t let her know you’re upset, just say you were confused about the plans. I wouldn’t bring up the guy because I’m afraid it might make things more tense/awkward. Now, if she continues to hang out with this guy, who continues to be rude/mean, then I’d ask her why she’s hanging out with someone she knows has hurt you. This might just have been a one time lapse in judgment.
