Aimata would tell stories of her past...if she knew it in the first place. An amnesiac who was found by The Shopkeeper in the woods, she's resided with him ever since and assisted him with the shop. She only has enough light to illuminate herself, so she carries an umbrella made custom for her so she can safely roam about.

Inktober Day 18: Childhood (prompt list by @oc-growth-and-development)

I broke my rule of only drawing characters I've posted before for this one because I really wanted to draw Sly with his sibs - his big half-sister Aimata (who is 11 years older than him) and his younger brother Rodney (who is four years younger than him, tho they look about the same size here so nice one me xDD).

My chameleon designs are a bit samey tbh, but they always have different crests instead of hair, so Aimata has two big spikes followed by a smaller one (and she has no horns bc she's female), Sly has (in theory but not always in practice xD) three equally sized spikes, and Rodney has one big curved spike followed by four teeny ones (and his tail doesn't rest fully curled), just encase you were like 'Sly could literally be any one of these three' xD

Their skin shading is WAY too dark here, but I improvised and made the date December bc Jackson's chameleons change colour according to temperature, getting darker for cold and lighter for hot. (Aimata is meant to be darker than the other two anyway, especially bc she was raised in a hotter climate and reacts to cold more easily.)

Light to Home

A festering sickness that will one day befall its host. A mind broken, scattered across the realms. Good begets evil, and evil begets good. When you are met by constant darkness, will you continue to share your light?

No matter what they choose, both of their journeys lead back to one place: home.

"Oh, surely you have heard of them, yes? Travel yonder past the elevated clearing, into the fog and clouds. There, you'll find a shop with two fascinating fellows. They roam the woods quite often, too, maybe you'll get a chance to see them!"
